I use the simple Shopping List Template for grocery shopping. I keep it short and only include necessary menu items.
I hand write it. This helps me think about what I’m purchasing and how I can combine items for multiple use. This is where I plan my attack on the Bulk Bins.
General categories on this template are in the order of flow at Whole Foods (similar to most grocery stores – Produce, Dairy, Meat, etc.). Over the years I found this works best rather than itemizing tiny details (like “Spices”). You don’t leave the “Dairy” aisle until you have everything crossed off the list. Simple.
